Occident Publishers was founded in 1994 in The Hague to publish Mieke Mosmuller’s books. The theme of her books is the spiritualization of thought by actively forming concepts in thought. It is the freedom of man, to give original direction to the course of his thoughts and thereby also that of his actions themselves. By bringing willpower into thinking, man finds the capacity for creative living and the path to spiritual insight. As a result, life takes forms that are completely beyond necessity.

Mieke Mosmuller is a researcher of clear thinking. She builds her research, on an inner path of development, which she owes to the instructions of Rudolf Steiner – whom she refers to in her novels as “The Master of the Occident.
Living thinking gives the ability to think expressively and artistically and also to experience a sense of harmony in feeling which creates the intention for acting morally and in love.
